Earth Day Poster Contest

Zoo Idaho is hosting an Earth Day Poster Contest. This year’s theme is “Becoming Environmental Champions.” Each contestant will design a poster that teaches people how to protect our ecosystems and wildlife.

CATEGORIES
Winners will be selected from the following categories:

  • Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
  • 3rd – 5th Grade
  • 6th – 8th Grade
  • 9th – 12th Grade
  • Adults

OBJECTIVE
Design a poster that teaches people how to protect our ecosystems and wildlife.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

  • Size:  8.5″ x 11″
  • Media:  Any media may be used including paint, crayon, colored pencil, charcoal, ink, and digital media

GUIDELINES

  • No copyrighted, trademarked, or branded material may be used in your poster design.
  • All posters must include this year’s theme “Becoming Environmental Champions.”
  • All posters must be created by the individual submitting the application. No group submissions.
  • The original creation must be submitted to Zoo Idaho Education Building (3101 Ave of the Chiefs) by Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
  • Prizes will be awarded and winning posters will be displayed at the Zoo Idaho booth at the Portneuf Valley Environmental Fair on Earth Day, April 22, 2023.
