Earth Day Poster Contest

Zoo Idaho is hosting an Earth Day Poster Contest. This year’s theme is “Planet vs Plastic.”

CATEGORIES
Winners will be selected from the following categories:

  • Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
  • 3rd – 5th Grade
  • 6th – 8th Grade
  • 9th – 12th Grade
  • Adult

OBJECTIVE
Design a poster that represents this year’s Earth Day Theme: Planet vs Plastic.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

  • Size:  8.5″ x 11″
  • Media:  Any media may be used including paint, crayon, colored pencil, charcoal, ink, and digital media

GUIDELINES

  • ALL POSTERS MUST BE ORIGINAL ARTWORK!
  • No copyrighted, trademarked, or branded material may be used in your poster design.
  • All posters must include this year’s theme “Planet vs Plastic.”
  • All posters must be created by the individual submitting the application. No group submissions.
  • The original creation must be submitted to the Zoo Idaho Education Building (3101 Ave of the Chiefs) by Wednesday, April 17, 2024 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or emailed to Rachael at rdaniels@pocatello.gov.
  • Prizes will be awarded and winning posters will be displayed at the Zoo Idaho Gift Shop on Earth Day, April 22, through the month of May.
